for the exploitation of the growing potential in South
East Asia and the Pacific Region, particularly in the
context of the evolution of ASEAN and the buoyant development
of Singapore as a strategically based insurance capital.
J.B.BODA & CO. (SINGAPORE) PTE.LTD. which is an assoicate
of the HONGKONG subsidiary was thus established to cover
the geographical region comprising the ASEAN countries,
Australasia and the rest of the Pacific Region. Although
commenced its operations in 1981, this company can already
claim to be one of the important reinsurance brokers of
Singapore.
As
a responsible broker, dedicated to the concept of stable
long-term relationship with our clients, we take special
pains to protect the interests of cedants and reinsurers
alike and to offer a wide range of supporting technical
and training facility wherever necessary.
SOFTWARE
SERVICES DIVISION (SINGAPORE)
The
Software Services Divison (SSD) was formed in 1986 with
the primary objective to service the J.B.Boda Group
of Companies' automation needs. The Division , however,
quickly evolved into a Consultancy and development center
for Reinsurance and Insurance Companies in the Region
and abroad.
The
SSD supplies and maintains software solutions in Reinsurance,
Reinsurance Broking and General Insurance areas. The
Software applications are designed to operate under
a wide range of industry standard hardware platforms
using the relational database technology.
The
Current client base is Asia, Australia and Africa. Apart
from the main-line products, the Division also offers
Software Consultancy, Turnkey Development and Specialized
Training in the Field of Information Technology. It
also maintains a "Software Support Center"
in the field of Information Technology. It also maintains
a "Software Support Center" located in Singapore
for the ongoing support of its products and services.
