Boda Group of Enterprise. Crowe Boda & Company
Pvt. Ltd., are the exclusive correspondents in India
for the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association
(Bermuda) Limited, London as well as the Shipowners'
Mutual Protection and Indemnity Association (Luxembourg)
London.

The
Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association (Bermuda)
Limited Club began writing P&I risks in 1975 and
is today one of the largest P&I Clubs worldwide.
Current entered tonnage amounts to some 38m GRT for
Owned entries and around 17m GRT for chartered entries.
Crowe
Boda has been in close association with the Steamship
Mutual Underwriting Association (Bermuda) Limited
since 1947 and thus has gained close to 60 years of
experience in P&I Insurance. In this capacity
Crowe Boda has been rendering services not only to
the major and smaller Indian Shipping Lines, both
state owned and private, but also to overseas lines
whose vessels call at Indian Ports.
In
the Indian context, Crowe Boda offers unparalleled
expertise and experience for handling all types of
P&I problems and has extensive infrastructure
and human resources available close at hand to be
able to offer quick and effective assistance in the
event of any casualty.
In
excess of 50% of the Indian ocean going fleets have
been insured with the Steamship Mutual Underwriting
Association (Bermuda) Limited including a majority
share of all the large shipping companies and virtually
the full fleets of the smaller shipowners. Top

Since
1855 the Shipowners' Mutual Protection and Indemnity
Association (Luxembourg) Club has provided the widest
possible P&I cover to owners of smaller or more
specialised vessels and currently provides P&I
cover to in excess of 20,000 vessels worldwide and
it is the acknowledged market leader for small vessel
P&I insurance.
Practically
all Indian small coastal vessels such as Mini Bulk
Carriers, Barges, Tugs, Dredgers, Ferry, Offshore
Vessels of in excess of 30 Indian shipowners have
been insured with the Shipowners' Mutual Protection
and Indemnity Association (Luxembourg) through us.
In
addition to claims handling, Crowe Boda is also able
to undertake underwriting activities in conjunction
with the represented Clubs, including renewal negotiations.

Bhatt & Saldanha, who are the amongst the foremost
maritime lawyers in India.

MARINE & GENERAL SURVEYS
Through
it's sister company Messrs. J. B. Boda Surveyors Pvt.
Ltd, Crowe Boda is able to arrange for specialised
surveys like marine and cargo surveys as well as condition
survey of the ships and prompt service is available
in the event of casualty in 25 locations across India
including all the major ports.

OFFSHORE SURVEY & AVERAGE ADJUSTERS
Offshore
surveys can be arranged through Dhiraj Offshore Surveyors
Pvt. Ltd., for technical services pertaining to offshore
rig/vessels, structures & modules, marine towage/
transportation, marine hull, salvage and for particular
and general average claims.
