Our foray into a professional marine surveying and loss assessment activities began over three decades ago with Master Mariners and Marine Engineers in attendance. We carry out both insurance surveys and loss assessment as well as non-insurance related inspections.

Insurance related surveys are carried out to assess:
In case of fire Insurance: losses to assets and stock-in -trade arising due to fire, consequential loss due to fire In case of marine

Insurance:
valuation of hull and machinery, damage / loss assessment of hull &
machinery, pre - acceptance inspection, cargo damages and loss minimization In case of Engineering Insurance: losses due to machinery break-down, boiler explosion etc; In case of Miscellaneous Insurance: loss due to theft, burglary, third party liability etc;

Non Insurance related Inspections:
In case of Marine and Cargo: cargo measurement; On/off Hire survey inspection of towage arrangements; P& I investigations; investigation into marine causalities/ losses, survey under General average In case of Petroleum and Petrochemicals: Quality and quantity inspection of crude oil/ petroleum products/liquid chemicals; survey and quantity determination of LPG; determination of weight and densities , In case of Preshipment Inspection/ Superintendence services: Certification of various products (Agro products, Oils manufactured goods, minerals & ores) for their weight, volume and quality as per specifications; issuing certification of Origin; preshipment inspection of refrigerated cargo, supervision of carting and loading of cargo.

Survey / Inspection during stuffing/ destuffing and stowage inspection, preparation of documents, Bay plan, inspection for chocking/bracing/ cargo securing arrangement case of Dry Containers Inspection / certification for cargo/ seaworthiness, on/off Hire/ PTI / EIR inspection for light and water tightness, We have grown significantly in size and network and diversified into a range of value added services- hull loss survey, continuous loading and discharge supervision, pre-shipment survey, project inspection and transportation logistics, sampling and testing to international standards etc;. Our services are retained by leading ship owners, P& I Clubs, Importers and Exporters and General Insurance Companies.

Over the last three decades we have diversified our professional non-marine survey services into all classes of Insurance even while reaching out to serve insurance companies in neighboring countries and internationally.

We have successfully handled major claim surveys for fire, machinery break down, storm, flood, explosion, and earthquake, loss of profits and losses arising from acts of God. We have experience in survey of losses in major projects under construction as also unusual losses such as break down of wind mills and complex financial frauds.
We are on the panel of surveyors to all the four state owned insurers and all the private sector insurers in India.
